PROGRESSION OF POSTER:
For this step, I made the image black and white. I did this, because after researching and analysing a range of horror related film posters, I noticed that the main colours used are dark colours (black and white).
For this step, I edited the subjects hand by placing a forest image onto it. I used the eraser tool to remove any unwanted background from the image, the soft light tool to blend the image into the subjects hand and decreased the opacity of the image to 48% to ensure it is blended well.
For this step, I repeated what I did on the step before and used the same tools and same settings to complete both hands.
For this step, I placed the forest image onto the subjects neck and had the same settings on this image as well.
For this step, I added the forest image onto the subjects face to sow the audience that the forest is an extremely important part of this girls life.
For this step, I added the title onto the poster. I used the font 'scare arms' for this and kept it black and white to match the colour scheme of the poster.
For this step, I added the release date onto the poster. I used the font 'broken glass' and used this because it is a subtle font in my opinion and nicely fits with my poster.
For this step, I used the 'steel tongs' font and added credits to the bottom of the poster. I had this font in dark grey so it isn't visible for the audience to see, because overall the credits should not be visible because the title is what matters.

FINAL POSTER
IMPROVEMENTS TO FINAL POSTER
After receiving constructive feedback from my final poster, I decided to improve my poster and make a better version of it.
FILM POSTER ANALYSIS
Next time, I would like to change my poster by making the colour scheme much darker and have the colour scheme as a whole a range of colours which would instantly catch the audiences attention.
(E.g. use a range of dark blues and reds perhaps).
